Chairpersons Vicki Smith, Connie Kinney, and Jenny Fulmer

How it all began…

Connie Kinney and Vicki Smith began what is now known as The Pass It On Kidsignment Sale in 1996. They thought it would simply be a small fundraiser for Parents’ Day Out. Little could they imagine – God had much larger plans for how this sale was going to reach the hearts and lives of so many people!
The sale now enriches the lives of volunteers, shoppers, friends, consignors, charities, church members, your children, many people in need of assistance and more!

Some people wonder why Vicki lives in Georgia and does this sale in Aiken: she actually was an active First Baptist member (with her husband as the Director of the Community Care and Counseling Center – located at Aiken’s First Baptist Church) for 5 years before moving to Alpharetta, GA in 2001. Her passion for the sale has only deepened as she has lived further away!

Connie Kinney is the founder of the Parents’ Day Out program at First Baptist Church which she began when her daughter Harriett was 5 years old – Harriett has now graduated from college and is working as a young professional woman in Washington DC!

We are blessed that Jenny Fulmer, former Parents’ Day Out Assistant Director, and committed volunteer since 1998, is our Co-Chair as well. She has served in multiple roles of leadership throughout the sale history including various coordinator positions and an incredible amount of behind the scenes work on the website, documents and consignor registration and so much more!

On behalf of the three of us and our 7 children, we are thankful for the continued opportunity to serve in this ministry role and to be able to continue to teach our own children the true value of Christian stewardship and giving of our time and possessions to others.
